There may be any number of reasons that you are looking for costumes. It may be party costumes for an up-coming party for instance. It could be on occasion of Halloween or Christmas. At any rate, there must be a themed party. Halloween and Christmas are just two examples of endless of themes there are.

Speaking of parties, perhaps you are invited to a 50′s theme party and the dress code is as per that era. This sounds like fun, if you remember what the 50′s were like. Think of the club scene where you see the girls in poodle skirts, dancing with their partners happily on the dancing platform.

These poodle skirts are so nice because they make girls look so feminine, and they are definitely made for the dance floor, what with the flair skirt and pretty patterns on it. But these girls don’t look so innocent when they put on their cat-eye glasses!

Couple this with cat-eye glasses in rims of your choice of color, you can imagine that you would look quite dainty and definitely, feminine. The personality to match this is probably a girlish one, maybe even a little on the giggly side, if you can pull it off.  

But maybe you are looking for sexy costumes. There are plenty of such costumes, in different degrees of sexiness. You can be as revealing as you like, or leave much to the imagination, which can be quite effective.

Many of the pirate costumes fall into the category of sexy costumes. There are different kinds of pirates too, such as princess pirates. The costumes of princess pirates tend to be sexy with some cuteness. This cuteness is due to its pink color and ruffles, while the sexiness is due to its laced up designs. The cut is usually tight at the bodice and the skirt tends to be very short, and uplifted with crinoline underneath. Of course, a low-cut goes for the top. This is the design generally, for princess pirates.

You can easily spice up this costume with fishnet stockings and garters, as well as laced up boots. For your hair, you may want to consider curls, such as blond ones, though this is not a necessity, you could be a devilish brunette instead. If you can’t turn your hair into the way you like it, get a wig, or borrow one.

Of course, there are other pirate costumes. You may even highlight your hair temporarily with streaks of green, making you more on the evil side, among the people who venture into sea. If you are a male, you could be wearing a wig of dread-locks. The choice is yours.

And if you are a male on Christmas time, maybe it has crossed your mind to take a look at santa suits. This sure would be fun. Apart from the red outfit trimmed with faux fur and the compulsory beard and moustache, you would need a belly and probably, a sack of presents too. You may even need an assistant who dresses up in a matching outfit.

You will find that santa suits are priced differently, and this is due to the different quality. If you have a real interest to be a Santa, and you know you will be again and again, why not go for a better quality one? Looks more impressive as well.

Come to think of it, if you are a male and are on the plus side, just become Santa Claus, and you save yourself the trouble of looking for adult plus size costumes. You would almost be a natural just by being Santa, and who doesn’t like to spread good cheer, especially when handing out presents?

Your partner can well be your assistant. She will have to choose from pretty costumes all in red and trimmed with white faux fur. Some of these costumes come with capes. Now all she has to do is to smile away and not let Santa get all the attention from the children.
